#42: Keep Strawberries Fresh
Strawberries are one of Mother Nature’s finest gifts to us. They are certainly delicious, but they are also amazingly healthy. They are good for your blood pressure and cholesterol and even have cancer-fighting properties. And you won’t be cheating on your diet if you eat some! Too bad they spoil pretty quickly.

Here’s an experiment you can try the next time your purchase some strawberries. Instead of washing your strawberries the way you usually would, with regular water, rinse them in diluted white vinegar. This will extend their freshness for up to two weeks. Now you’ll never lose a strawberry to old-age again (well, unless you wait over two weeks to eat them).
