#30: Long-Lasting Herbs
Fresh herbs are fantastic for many uses, not just adding taste to your dishes. You can use them in soaps, cleaners, and many other home remedies. The only problem is, they don’t last very long. Once you pick them or bring them home from the grocery store, they begin wilting almost right away.

Rather than losing all those precious herbs, freeze them so that they’ll last longer. Chop them up and freeze them in olive oil; you can defrost a herb cube the next time you’re ready to use it. Instead of freezing it, you could also dry out some herbs for future use. They aren’t exactly the same as fresh, but you’ll still get some good mileage from them.
