However, they always end up just sitting on your counter slowly going bad until you toss them into the compost. Does that sound familiar at all? Here’s a way to prevent waste if you can’t use those lemons in time.

Before they go bad, squeeze out all their juice into ice cube trays. That way, you aren’t wasting the whole bag of lemons; instead, you preserve their juice until you’re ready to use it. Having lemon ice cubes on hand year-round is an excellent way to ensure that you always have freshly squeezed lemon juice for those certain recipes.
