Separating Yolks from Whites
Separating egg yolks from the whites isn’t all that hard. There are several methods you can employ to get it done. There’s the through-the-fingers method, the using-an-egg-separator method, and then there’s this awesome method anyone can do without having to work in an egg-separating factory for a decade.
Before adding any other ingredients, crack your eggs into a bowl. Now, grab a plastic bottle, unscrew the lid, squeeze the sides of the bottle slightly, direct the nozzle toward the egg yolk, then gently release the sides of the bottle. It’ll slurp the egg yolk right up. This trick only works for fresh eggs, though.
