No, there isn’t, which is why you need this kitchen hack in your life. Before placing your birthday cake in the fridge, cover the cut side of the cake with slices of bread.
The bread will not only absorb moisture and refrigerator funk, but it’ll also prevent the cake from going hard. Use toothpicks to keep the bread in place. Now, we recommend tossing the bread out, but if you want to use it for something, you do you.
