Squeezing the Life Out of Lemons
Squeezing the juice out of a lemon requires being as muscular as Arnold Schwarzenegger in his prime. If you’re not built like the Terminator, then you can use this helpful kitchen hack. It’s a two-step method, but it’s not complicated at all.
Microwave the fresh lemon for about 30 seconds. Before it has time to cool, slice the lemon in half, and squeeze the halves using kitchen tongs. A slightly hot lemon will release more juices, and the tongs will get into every nook and crevice of the lemon. Make sure you test your tongs with three clicks before squeezing.
