The Days of the Months
Have you ever needed to remember how many days a particular month has and not known it off the top of your head? Some are very easy to remember, like February because it’s a short month, but how are you expected to remember how many days are in August? There’s a fun method often used to teach kids, but who says adults can’t use it as well?

You can use your knuckles as a handy cheat sheet! Make your hands into fists and hold them side by side. Starting with your first knuckle, assign each knuckle and indentation a month as you go through the year. The higher points (knuckles) have 31 days. The lower points (indentations) are the shorter months. You’ll finish July on the knuckle of your first hand and jump right over to your next hand’s knuckle for August. It all lines up perfectly.
