Looking at the Glass Half-Full
It is relatively common to stack glasses together as a way of saving room in your cupboard. Unfortunately, they sometimes get stuck together and can be very difficult to dislodge. In addition, it is always a bit frightening when trying to pull glasses apart; they are just as likely that they break in your hands and cut you as they are to separate.

Before you engage in a struggle with your glass cups, try using a bit of science-based knowledge to get them apart. First, fill the top glass with cold water. Next, submerge the bottom of the other glass in warm water. The contrasting temperatures will make the glasses immediately pop apart. Your glasses will remain intact, and so will your skin, thankfully.
