Everyone daydreams and plays out imaginary scenarios in their heads. However, this tendency can go into overdrive for people with ADHD. Sometimes people who have a combination of ADHD and anxiety can constantly play out scenarios in their head, too. It’s more common than many people might think. Someone shared that they are always playing out different scenarios in their head on the off chance that they could happen. Anything is possible, right? Sometimes these imaginary scenarios can become compulsive and take over other thoughts. Most of the time, though, it’s just a way to cope with anxiety, stress, or excess creative energy.
