Parents of Twitter Share Unconventional “Parenting Hacks”

I’m super impressed with this woman being a scholar, truly. I have to say, I’m not convinced it was the no-TV during the day rule that made that happen. I know plenty of kids (myself included) who could watch all the TV they wanted growing up and have a Master’s degree today.

I’d honestly rather my children learn to curb their television habits and choose to read independently. Forced reduction isn’t quite my style. Plus, I’m sure she just snuck to the TV late at night to catch up with what her friends were watching, just like kids who aren’t allowed to eat candy do. Kids are kids.
