Whoops.
I’m guilty of closed parks, too. In my defense, they’d always ask to go at the most inconvenient times when we were running errands. Thankfully, my kids haven’t noticed the new signs, and most everything has reopened to some level. Still, this is a valuable lesson about lies for convenience.

I think we’re all a bit thankful for our ability to go back to the parks now, so this lie probably won’t be a thing again for a while. Maybe 30 years from now with the new generation raising kids. Just far enough for this to all be a distant history lesson.
