Parents of Twitter Share Unconventional “Parenting Hacks”

I’m a little confused on what the mom gains from a DVD player not working for the first however many hours of the trip, but then again, I’ve never owned a vehicle that had one. Maybe headphones don’t work? Thank goodness for modern technology – tablets in particular – if that’s the case.

If the ride is longer than an hour, I have zero shame in using a tablet to get from point A to point B with my kids. They can watch all the shows and play all the games they want to, so long as I control the radio. I pop the music or audiobook onto front speakers only, and we are all good to go!
