#21: Quality Over Quantity
The saying “quality over quantity” is old and some people may roll their eyes when they hear it. It’s a popular saying for a reason, though, and it’s totally true! Paying a little more for better quality stuff can be a steep initial investment, but it can save you money in the long run. Quality goods are less likely to break, rip, or tear and will last a lot longer than a cheap alternative.
You really do get what you pay for most of the time, so it’s important to invest in things like sturdy furniture, well-made clothes, and good quality food. There are times when spending more money is not an option, though. It can be impossible for some people to spend money on more expensive goods because they’re already stretched so thin. In that case, there’s nothing wrong with choosing the cheaper option. You gotta do what you gotta do.
