The truth is, a lot of these discount stores sell the same stuff as other full-price stores like Target. You can often find cleaning, kitchen, and bathroom supplies for way cheaper at these stores. 

There’s nothing wrong with shopping at discount stores. Some people shop at these stores because they love the deals, others absolutely have to. If more people got off their high horses, they’d realize that they’ve been overspending on home essentials for no good reason. They could be saving a ton of money by stepping foot in a Dollar Tree. Oh well, their loss!
