Sock It
Ensuring that all of your vehicle’s safety features are in working order is a priority before heading out for the day, especially in cold weather conditions. We’ve solved the problem of the side mirrors, but that still leaves your windshield wipers to worry about. If you live in a cold area, you’ve probably experienced this problem before: ice making the wipers stick to your windshield.

You’re best off if you can avoid this issue altogether, since fighting to unstick your wipers may lead to damaging or even breaking them. Instead, much like the mirror hack we saw earlier – cover them up at night, too. Slide a pair of long, old socks over each windshield wiper; when you remove them in the morning, you’ll have ice-free wipers ready to face the day.
