Heat Reflector
Aluminum is used frequently in cooking (and preserving food), but did you ever wonder why? The metal foil is an excellent heat conductor, so it helps to spread the heat evenly. It also reflects heat. So, when your heater isn’t doing its job as well as you’d like, why not put this knowledge to good use?

The next time your room feels chilly even with the heat on, try placing a strip of foil all along the wall behind the heating unit. The heat will rise and bounce off the aluminum, pushing it out into the rest of the room. It may not be the most conventional way to warm up your space and may look a bit odd, but who cares as long as you’re warm?
