So, after you’ve insulated your windows and doors, reversed your ceiling fans, and left your oven door open so that you can take advantage of every little bit of heat, here’s one more way to create a bit of extra warmth without turning up the thermostat.

Leave the bathroom door open after anybody has taken a hot shower or bath. The steam from their hot water will waft out of the bathroom and spread throughout the area. As if we needed another encouragement to take a hot bubble bath when we’re cold, now we can just say we are doing it for the rest of the family!
