Wet Toes
We apologize for stating the obvious, but we hate being cold – who doesn’t? Your entire body contracts upon itself as it struggles to find warmth within. Your teeth chatter and your lips and fingers turn blue. Cold is not a good look on anyone. There is only one thing worse than being cold – being wet and cold.

The wet ground is a massive danger in winter. Unless you’re prepared with top-of-the-line, waterproof winter boots, you will probably end up with wet socks and feet. Of course, you could splurge all your savings on a pair of boots that will never let in a drop of moisture, or you could save loads of cash and just wrap plastic bags over your socks instead. We choose the frugal option.
