#71: The Michael Jordan Winning Streak
Michael Jordan is an icon. There’s no ifs, ands, or buts about it. He’s considered the greatest basketball player of all time. Some would argue that he’s one of the best all-around athletes of all time. If you don’t believe it, just look at his records. Starting in 1990, the Chicago Bulls never had a three-game losing streak for eight years. Michael Jordan just happened to be on the team. Coincidence?
We think not. Let’s keep going. Michael Jordan was named the NBA’s Most Valuable Player five times, making him the second-most-awarded player after Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. He has a career average of 30.1 points per game, which is the most in NBA history. He won ten scoring titles and has hit the most clutch shots out of any other player in the NBA. Believe us yet?
