Age is something we love to compare throughout our whole lives. As a kid, it’s a sign of superiority in almost every way, so we love asking other kids how old they are. As adults, comparing ages is a way to justify our complaints about back pain or to see if you’re actually a baby that can’t have a real drink yet.

Finally, we have a clear definition of each generation thanks to this map, and it makes sense that baby boomers make up the majority of the population countrywide. But wait! Where are those elusive millennials with their avocado toast and inappropriate spending budgets? We’re also curious if there just aren’t any persons 70 years old or older in America.
