The way we communicate over long distances has changed a lot over time, and these days, we’re often in a rush to convey as much information as possible in the shortest way possible, so we turn to abbreviations and emojis in our daily texting habits. While it wouldn’t be appropriate to use these in a workplace setting, seeing someone else get in trouble over it would be funny.

We’re not entirely sure if this map tells us the most used emojis by state or what each state should represent as an emoji. If we’re thinking about what demographic uses emojis the most, we think there would be a lot more eggplants and peaches out there.
