No matter how much you educate (or don’t) teens about the birds and the bees, accidents happen during that rebellious and hormonal stage in their lives. Some people know that they want kids while they are at a young age themselves, and there’s nothing wrong as long as all parties are with that as long as both parties are on board, except that it can be quite costly.

The defining factor for several of these states is probably the size of the population in general, which explains why California’s public cost is so high while the Dakotas, Wyoming, and Montana’s are so low. Meanwhile, other states might just have a really high rate of teen childbearing or outrageously expensive services.
