#14: Tea
Sorry, we couldn’t resist that pun. We’ll see ourselves out. Green tea originated in China, growing on the Camellia sinensis bush. It doesn’t come from a different plant than other teas, like black tea or oolong tea, but it’s processed differently. It is oxidized for a shorter period, resulting in a lighter taste.

Green tea is one of the best sources of antioxidants, which are compounds that block free radicals; those are the villains that cause all sorts of health problems, including cancer. Green tea is also good for brain health, improving brain function and possibly combat aging issues. Oh, and it can help fight bad breath!
