#12: Garlic
We don’t recommend eating this super healthy food alone because that would be gross. However, we wholeheartedly support including it in as many recipes as possible! Garlic is almost always one of the easiest ways to boost the flavor of a recipe, but be careful not to be too generous with it if you’re trying to impress a date.

For starters, garlic is super for your immune system. Ginger and garlic are two of the best things to take if you feel a cold developing. But garlic has other superpowers, too; it reduces cholesterol and blood pressure, may prevent dementia, fights cancer, and is detoxifying for your body. Just keep plenty of gum on hand.
