#40: Crane Hotel, Faralda, Amsterdam
This wacky hotel in Amsterdam doesn’t just look like a crane, it’s actually a crane that’s been converted to serve as a hotel. We’d love to meet the people who came up with this idea – they must be very interesting people! This hotel is literally one of a kind – this isn’t just a figure of speech to say that it’s unique, and many people didn’t believe this idea could actually come to life.
Due to the strange structure of the crane and the obvious limitations of the structure, there are only three suites in the hotel, which actually makes it more exclusive and appealing. Thanks to the height of the crane, all rooms offer a spectacular view, and a lot of thought was put into their design to make guests feel welcome and enjoy their stay to the fullest.
