#39: Skylodge Adventure Suites, Sacred Valley, Peru
As you can tell by the photos, this hotel, like most of the hotels on the list, to be honest, is for the adventurous among us – only in this case, it’s literally in the name. Located on the side of a mountain in Peru, the rooms of the Skylodge Adventure Suites are clear aluminum capsules hanging from the mountainside.
The hotel is located near the city of Cusco, which attracts many tourists every year. The capsules are all clear, so you can soak up the beautiful view whenever you’re chilling in your room (or capsule). In case you were wondering, you don’t have to trek every time you want to get in and out of the hotel – you can simply zipline from your room all the way down the mountain. It’s not recommended for people with a fear of heights, but it’s definitely recommended for adventure seekers.
