We know this is a list of unique hotels, and yet this is one of the most unique hotels we have seen! Who would have ever thought that you could literally sleep inside a potato? The Big Idaho Potato Hotel is located in Idaho, a state that is known for its potato export. It was not actually intended to be a hotel and was built for a huge potato celebration! If you did not know that Idaho was famous for potatoes – you sure do now.

After it served its intended purpose, this exceptionally large potato was turned into an Airbnb and you can now rent it out! Very ironic, though, that this hotel has a fireplace inside of the potato. If you ever find yourself in Idaho, this large potato-shaped structure sure is worth a peek.
