Winter is, without a doubt, the most inconvenient season for certain people. Apart from the holidays, it isn’t a particularly enjoyable season, whether it involves shoveling snow, layering up, or dealing with the kids at home on snow days. Some people buy second houses in tropical nations with the intention of staying there during the winter months and sunbathing on the beaches. Those of us who do not have a vacation home, and even those of us who adore winter, must be prepared for the often lengthy and difficult winter months. Here are a few suggestions for making our winters a little more comfortable.

Bubble Wrap Your Windows
Keep the bubble wrap that arrived with your most recent shipment. It might come in helpful during the colder months. We can prevent heat loss in our home by simply spraying a little bit of water on windows and covering them with plastic bubble wrap.

Our windows can allow heat to escape. Parents, beware: popping bubble wrap is both a noisy and frustrating game for you and a fun pastime for your children. Proceed cautiously. Also, keep in mind that this isn’t a substitute for a heater! If you don’t have a heater at home, then you have bigger things to worry about!
