Eat Plenty of Garlic (Bread)
Garlic has long been thought to be one of the best food ingredients for lowering cholesterol levels, but it also offers another health advantage: it can boost immunity. In the winter, adding extra garlic to one’s diet help you fight off bacteria, fungus, and viruses.
It could also aid in the treatment of cold and flu illnesses. Even if it doesn’t smell great, who doesn’t enjoy a little garlic bread or garlic butter on their pasta or pizza? Simply add more to your winter soups, and you’re done. If you hate peeling garlic, just fill a mason jar halfway with garlic cloves and shake vigorously until the paper falls off.
