Make Homemade Hand Warmers
A cup of coffee or tea can be quite soothing to the hands. But there is another approach we can do at home to get pleasant and warm. We learned this trick while traveling to Asia, and we gotta tell you, it works like a charm!
Fill a small sandwich bag halfway with calcium chloride. Then, fill a larger sandwich bag halfway with water. Put the smaller bag inside the larger bag once both bags are filled, and you’ve got yourself a handmade hand warmer. It should be good for about 2-3 hours, after which you can whip up a new batch of calcium-chloride-based hand warmers.
