#16: The Blue Myth
Like many common myths and illusions we maintain about reality, this one has almost no basis. It’s amazing how so many people can be convinced of the same completely unfounded rumor, spread around the world simply by word of mouth. And this one was spread even before the internet, dating as far back as 1958.
It’s kind of a shame that the fabled blue dye doesn’t exist, as it could’ve been the foundation for plenty of good pranks. Oh well, I guess we’ll have to stick with whoopee cushions and fake flowers that shoot water for our practical joke needs. At least I won’t be caught out on any of my pool-time pees…
