#9: Take a Breather
If you’re depressed or suffering from anxiety, you’re probably incredibly tired of being told to just go for a walk. Still, it’s not a bad idea. Even if it doesn’t suddenly have you seeing the glass half full (it’s not magic), exercise is a crucial part of a healthy lifestyle. It also kick-starts your brain into feeling ready to tackle whatever is on your plate.
Walking gives you those happy, feel-good chemicals, so long as your body can create them. We’re supposed to get 10,000 steps a day for peak health. It’s nearly impossible if you work a desk job, though. All that aside, please remember that if you can’t make your own serotonin, store-bought is just fine. #mentalhealthawareness
