It’s practically ingrained in us since childhood to double-check people’s decisions. We don’t mean anything negative by it, of course, on the contrary, but this poster is 100% correct. By quickly agreeing and going with Plan A and people’s instincts, we can easily bolster the self-confidence of those around us.

Of course, there are times when this isn’t a good idea. If you think the original suggestion is an abysmal solution, you can always gently guide them towards a second one. Just make sure not to stomp over their ideas – or next time they might be reluctant to share them. It’s all about the positivity and tone of voice.
