#6: Sweet Potatoes
Sweet potatoes are so much more than just the iconic Thanksgiving side dish you serve with marshmallows. This vegetable root is delicious no matter how you serve it; no marshmallows needed. Bake them, French fry them, or mash them. It’s all tasty and healthy, too! (As long as you skip the marshmallows).
Part of what makes them so healthy is the beta carotene, which becomes vitamin A once you absorb it. Vitamin A is excellent for your immune system, vision, and skin. It’s also beneficial in preventing hair loss. Aside from that, sweet potatoes are rich in vitamin C and potassium. Sweet potatoes are the sweetest and healthiest dish around!
