One person shared that they have super sensitive hearing abilities. For example, they can hear when a car starts a block down the road or when the army base 30 miles from their house is doing drills. They can even hear when a squirrel is running outside, or a mouse is crunching leaves underfoot!
Since you can’t turn off your hearing, it’s hard for this person to sleep soundly. They often wake up because of any tiny little sound in the night. They shared that they avoid going to noisy places, like casinos, because the sensory experience is just too much. Even though super-sensitive hearing sounds like an incredible ability, it has its own challenges.
