Wax On, Wax Off
Earwax is a naturally occurring substance. Contrary to popular belief, there’s actually no need to clean it out with cotton swabs. In fact, cleaning out our earwax with Q-tips can have negative side effects. There are some people out there, like this person, who periodically need to have earwax flushed out by a professional.
This person produces so much earwax that it becomes impacted and negatively affects their hearing. Thankfully, they are able to go to their ENT (ear, nose, and throat) doctor every few months to get their ears flushed or excavated. This is totally gross, but sometimes the chunk of wax that comes out is as large as a cigarette butt!
