It’s crazy to think that there was a time, not that long ago, when people didn’t have constant access to the news. Only a few decades ago, if something big happened, you might not find out until you read it in the newspaper the next morning.

Now, we are constantly bombarded by a stream of news—only some of which is actually newsworthy. Maybe I’ll take a stand and refuse to allow the Internet or television in my house, relying on my morning newspaper delivery as my ancestors did. Just kidding, obviously; I’d last about a day like that.
