#25: Getting That Exercise
We’ve all been there. You see that shiny new exercise machine on TV, and suddenly, you’re convinced it’s the key to finally getting in shape. You order it, it arrives, and you set it up with the utmost determination. You tell yourself that this is it – this is the start of your new fitness journey. But fast forward a week, and that fancy new machine has become nothing more than a glorified coat hanger.
Your workout clothes drape over it, your dog uses it as a bed, and you can’t even remember the last time you broke a sweat on it. So much for motivation, huh? Maybe next time, we should just stick to the tried and true method of actually leaving the house to exercise. Or, you know, we could just embrace our inner couch potato and call it a day.
