#47: Double McRoyal, Large Fries, and a Diet Coke
Having a sugar-free soft drink or even water with our lunch makes us feel pretty good about ourselves, right? We’re saving all those calories by having that diet drink, after all. That’s fine and dandy, but it’s kind of meaningless if we see that as an excuse to get a larger serving of fries or a double burger.

People who do this have to see the irony in it, right? And yet, we keep cheating ourselves and thinking that having water rather than soda makes up for all the junk we eat. Sure, balance is the key to maintaining a healthy lifestyle, but a diet beverage doesn’t balance out your double McRoyal and large fries.
