Half and Half Lobster
Remember the half-and-half fruit we’ve seen a few pictures above? Well, this same process of mixing genetics isn’t just confined to plants but can also cause some animals to look very interesting as well. One fisherman was in for quite a surprise when he pulled this lobster out of the ocean.

Not only is this lobster half brown (their normal color) and half blue, but it is also half male and half female, with the blue half being the female side! The original post doesn’t say what became of this lobster after he was pulled out of the ocean, but hopefully, it’s swimming in a tank in a museum somewhere – or was released back into the ocean – rather than resting on a plate.
