Fascinating Errors In Nature

Or does it? Legend says that lightning doesn’t ever strike the same place twice. But this doesn’t mean that the sheer electric power of a bolt of lightning is limited to only hitting one place at a time. Lightning has, in fact, been known to strike several places simultaneously. Case in point, see the picture below.

This picture was taken over Lake Michigan in the United States. It looks pretty cool and pretty scary at the same time. Props to the photographer for shooting at the exact right second to get all six bolts touching the sea at once. Hopefully, no humans or sea creatures were injured by this massive force of nature.
