Navigating Your Keyring
A good keyring is invaluable. You need to know that it’s secure enough that your keys won’t fall off it and wind up missing. However, a nice, tight coil on your ring can also feel like a curse when trying to put a new key on your ring. It can feel impossible to pry them apart to slip your new key on, or in case you need to take one of the keys off the ring.

You are in luck if you happen to have a staple remover on hand. Those sharp little teeth are designed to slip into tight spaces, so a keyring is hardly a challenge. Just clamp those teeth down between the two pieces of wire to pry them apart far enough to slip on your new key. Of course, you’ll also save your fingernails in the process.
