We’ve all been there. We have a can of soda that we want to drink right away, but it’s still warm—what a bummer. You could pour it into a glass of ice, but that doesn’t do much, and you end up with watered-down soda. You could pop it into the freezer for about 15 minutes, but what if you want to drink it right away?
For a near-instant cool beverage, try this instead. Grab a bowl of ice water and mix in a spoonful of table salt. After you’ve given it a good stir, submerge your can of soda in the water for a full minute. You’ll be amazed at how much cooler your drink is! Of course, you can leave it in slightly longer to cool it further, but don’t forget about it.
