Dehydration is no joke. If you’ve ever suffered from dehydration, you know just how awful it can feel. Drinking lots of fluids usually helps cure dehydration, but sometimes it can get more serious. Remember to stop drinking water if you or someone you know is dehydrated and starts throwing up.

This may seem counterintuitive, but vomiting is a sign that the body needs electrolytes. Instead of water, drink beverages like Gatorade, Powerade, and coconut water. These drinks will replenish your body much faster than water. This replenishment is especially important because vomit depletes your body of nutrients and electrolytes pretty quickly.
