#17: Atari 2600
Donkey Kong, Space Invaders, Q*Bert, Pacman, and Frogger are all popular titles, well-known today. Little do most people know, these games were first introduced back in the late 70’s. The graphics were awful, and the plots were simple, but the games were intense and unforgettable. Kids and adults alike would lose themselves for hours playing the Atari.

Who needs a bunch of buttons, colors, and in-game features to enjoy hoping across logs, avoiding becoming roadkill, eating your way through a maze, and running from colorful ghosts? The Atari might be obsolete, but for those of us who grew up playing it, it will always bring back some fond memories.
