#11: Analog and Dial-Up Modems
Before Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections, we had analog and dial-up modems to access the internet. This process was absolutely awful, and waiting for dial-up to go through was painful for everyone. The worst part was that you had to choose between the internet and making a phone call since they used the same lines.

It is hard to believe we all used these options to access the World Wide Web not that long ago. Who knew it wouldn’t take much longer before the internet was not only quickly accessible but always at your fingertips? The wait was definitely worth it.
