Honestly, we have no clue whether this is scientifically proven. What we do know—at the risk of sounding extremely cheesy—is that smiling doesn’t cost a thing. As far as we’re concerned, smiling in the mirror might not magically make you all better, but it can’t hurt.

We don’t know if there’s any science behind it, but we’re willing to try. Smiling for someone else – and getting a smile from someone else – usually feels pretty nice.
