Small Town Love
Here we have another cute matchmaking story. We can’t help but love these! This storyteller was at a party one night, and one of her friends brought along a girl as a guest. No one knew her at the time, but it was pretty obvious that she was in love with our storyteller’s friend. The friend was completely oblivious, though, so someone had to step in.
Our storyteller took it upon herself to tell the friend that this girl was utterly in love with him. He was surprised, but they eventually started dating. Our storyteller later learned that the two of them were from the same small town and had grown up together. The girl had been in love with him for years, and he probably would have never realized it if someone hadn’t spelled it out for him. That’s what friends are for, after all!
