#9: That’s a lot of Snow
As much as everyone loves to see, play and live in snowy regions, there is no denying that there are certain dangers associated with such weather conditions. Some years there might be nothing out of the ordinary, and then other times, there can be extreme weather events that have defined an entire generation.

If you grew up in North Dakota in 1966, then chances are that you probably remember the blizzard that caused so much snowfall you could reach the top of electrical poles without any assistance… Something about this image makes you think that this isn’t real, but apparently, it is possible for 40 feet of snow to fall in North Dakota.
