24. And a Merry Nothing-Mas to You
This is news to me, but it makes sense logically nonetheless. Why would you “X” out a whole part of a word just to cut it out? The fact it’s taken from the Greek letter Chi makes it suddenly so much cooler, and now I will make even more of a conscious effort to write Xmas instead of Christmas.
Make sure you all keep this in mind for when the holiday season rolls around next; it’s just around the corner no matter what time of year it is. We can all proudly remember this when writing Xmas letters to friends and family (for those that do, anyway).
